Placing an Order
Print Specs
.PDF print-ready files, high resolution (min 300 dpi), text converted to curves, CMYK, file size must be precisely 3.625" x 2.125", no registration or crop marks—and will be trimmed to 3.5" x 2".
Note: Locate important text and graphics inside: 3.25" x 1.75" zone.
Create one file for the front, and another for the card back and label:
• eg. ABCco-front-01.pdf
• eg. ABCco-back-01.pdf
Ensure that your file name identifies you or your business (short description... Or your initials) and includes a file version number "-01".
E-mail the print-ready files with your contact info, to info@intuitivegraphicdesign.com and a representative will contact you to arrange payment and delivery.
Note: If your print-ready files are larger than 5 MB, please contact an IGD representative for instructions.
Color Matching
The only way to control color is with Pantone colors, printed on an
off-set press.
If you require precise color matching—do not buy our cards. Although our cards are off-set printed, they are CMYK NOT Pantone! Our printing companies guarantee 90-95% color (all customers to date have been 100% satisfied with the card/color quality). Printing and re-printing, even on the same machinery, can have slight color variations.
Payment-in-full is Required in Advance
Our representative will forward an invoice to you by e-mail. Call 250-756-4090 to arrange payment. Note: For your convenience, we accept VISA, MASTERCARD, email transfers and Hyperwallet (used by Credit Union customers).
Printing Schedule & Delivery
Gang-run printing is available 2-3 times per month and the finished product will shipped directly to you. Print time is approximately 2 weeks—delivery time is an additional 2 to 4 days depending on your proximity to a city center.
File Storage & Re-ordering
Once the business cards have been printed, the print-ready files are removed from our computer system. Archive your original files/print-ready files on your system and resend to reorder.

Our color business cards are 2-sided, CMYK offset printed, on 14 pt cardstock with glossy UV coating, with bleeds. To date, all customers receiving these cards have been 100% ecstatic.
We keep our product pricing reasonable by printing in gang-runs and by maintaining consistent administrative and procedural practices.
• The price is the same for 1-sided and 2-sided cards.
• Shipments are delivered to you by courier/mail—we ship Canada-wide. It is our goal to keep the shipping cost around $10.
• Pricing is for prepaid and print-ready orders.
• Our signature business cards are printed on 14 pt cardstock—it creates the impressiveness of our business cards… and it’s our “trademark”.
• Ensure that the files you send, have already been carefully proofed and approved by you and your designer before submitting them for print. It is important to check all details carefully, especially telephone numbers and contact information. Don't just read the information, inspect it letter-by-letter and number-by-number.
• All orders are invoiced, with applicable taxes and shipping.
